The head lining acts this year are huge with ‘The Wonderful World of Mr. Men & Little Miss', ‘The Powerpuff Girls Concert' and ‘YO Gabba Gabba, I like to dance..!'

KidsTown Playground Coordinator Steve Wilson said that KidsFest is now in its fifth year and has established itself as a fun packed event for the whole family.

"This year's festival features a number of high profile children's entertainers as well as sports activities and continuous roving entertainment," Mr. Wilson said.

"There will also be a sideshow alley area with lots of rides, including jumping castles, camel rides, dodgem cars, bungie trampolines, pony rides and a merry-go-round.

"There will also be woodturning demonstrations, arts and crafts displays, and an area dedicated to sports programs and beach volleyball games.

"KidsFest is great value family entertainment and there is something for everyone, so put the dates in your diary now."

The festival is on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 October from 10.00am to 4.00pm each day.

Entry is a gold coin per person (some activities may incur an additional cost.)
