KidsTown will remain closed over summer

We have been working hard with the help of many Council departments, Service people and Corrections Victoria to get KidsTown back up to a standard where we can open our doors and gates to the public again.

Unfortunately the playground, park and all facilities will remain closed during the Summer School Holidays. A lot of great work has been completed but KidsTown spans over five acres and there remains a lot of work to be done including the removal and replacement of contaminated soft fall and ensuring all pathways and surfaces are level and safe to walk and play on. Work on the playground will continue in January 2023. Please do not enter the park grounds at this time.

The All Abilities Playground next to Aquamoves has re-opened as well as Victoria Park Lake playground. Alternatively you may like to visit your local or nearby neighbourhood park. On warmer days, you might like to head out to one of the rural pools to cool down. Remember, Merrigum has a fantastic children’s Splash Park for lots of Summer fun.
