MORE than 420 patrons packed the GV Hotel on Friday night 21st of October to celebrate the 2011 Powercor 95 3SR FM Business and Service Excellence Awards brought to the region by the Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry.This year seen the largest number of nominees in the award’s history, 82 nominees were recognised and honoured for their contribution to the business community.Winners were presented across seven different categories one of which was for ‘Tourism Excellence’  Which was awarded to SPC Ardmona KidsTown for the second consecutive year,Being the second year in a row that KidsTown has won this award highlights the ongoing commitment everyone involved has to local tourism industry and this fantastic facility. Winning the award recognises all the hard work and dedication that the KidsTown's volunteers, staff and sponsors put into this great community asset. GO KidsTown GO!
